Ceremonial Cacao - Las Victorias, Guatemala, 1/2 pound

Our most "chocolate"like tasting cacao.

This 100% organic cacao comes from the Pacific coast of Guatemala, in the region known as Las Victorias, and was grown by indigenous Mayan farmers who practice permaculture principles. Follwoing fermentation and sun-drying, the cacao was then brought fron "bean-to-block"by our partner women-collective of single-mothers who lovingly roast and hand-peel each and every bean. Tasting notes are Earthy and Firey, with Fruity and Nutty hints that finish in your mouth. Energetically this cacao is grown near active volcanoes, leaving it more strong and masculine in nature
